Op 17 juni 2022 komt de Britse band Elbow naar de Ziggo Dome! Let op: dit is de vervangende datum voor het concert dat 3 oktober 2021 zou plaatsvinden (eerder verplaatst van 24 maart & 21 juni 2020 en 29 oktober 2020). Reeds aangeschafte tickets blijven geldig voor deze nieuwe datum.

Dit optreden zal in het teken staan van het achtste album Giants of All Sizes. Het is de grootste show die de band tot nu toe heeft gegeven in Nederland. Met Giants of All Sizes slaat Elbow muzikaal en tekstueel een nieuwe richting in: “We wanted it to sound sonically different from our previous albums. Whereas we would often look to find a combination of our influences in how tracks sounded, even swapping instruments so a keyboard played a guitar line, this time we decided not to do that,” legt keyboardist en producer Craig Potter uit. “From that first session in Clouds Hill studios in Hamburg we elected not to take the usual road, allowing tracks to be themselves, not taking the edges off stuff.”
